Death Of Life ..
She was standing there,
right in front of my eyes
Tracing the footsteps
of the wind,
capturing the
bloom in her merry ways
A storm, not rain
could fiddle her plans
She was madly in love
And no fear or disdain
A throne all her's
to proclaim ..
A moment
etched far too vividly
in my memory,
for any truth to deny
The reason behind which
every logic
sought refuge and
got denied ..
Running wild
she didn't want no hand
to hold
Cliffs and ridges,
mountains and sunrise
Her melancholy song
would be echoing
far and long
Her joyous grace
would impair my pain
She would mend a smile
and plant it to the heart
& long then, it would sustain ..
She would chase
the meandering butterflies
She would leap to caress
the ever so near blue skies
And surf the coast to
ride the waves,
The whole world in her stride,
she in the driver's seat
and
me a pillion of this race,
amazing grace ..
Race, it was against time
Race it was for me to find
and
to look through her defenses
In the locked walls of her heart
was the secret,
she was living to guard
She would smile in pain too
and when she would cry
it'd rain out of the blue ..
Never running away,
she could yet so successfully
hide
If she was an actor,
this movie, would go on for life ..
And then one day
when it was black all the way
The sun refused to shine
The wind stopped dead
and
the bloom turned pale.
There came the day when
at last, the magic fell
The air had ominous signs
and silence was its spell ..
She left without a goodbye
She didn't let go and
yet went by.
You could hear death, sulking wry
She had only love to give
And
that she made sure,
she never did hide ..
If I could die to live her once
I'd emulate her and go through
To find here near
still standing there ..
and
make her wait turn true ..
Our love is not a wasteland
of promises in pain
To the past, present and the future
Everything remains ..
I'd give them your voice
I'd tell them to seek the truth
I begin from where we left,
from where
we'd still continue ..
She was standing there ..
And with every step I took
she flew high ..
