Abominable lull


By now, we know
how to communicate
Instead of coming to blows,
we're on a roll
There ain't no stopping us
there are no voices calling us
except those, from
within

We were flowing,
burning under control ..
strange how we're all
waiting to absolve
How will all this play ?

I close my eyes it's still there
I find it lingering there
still ..
where I was lost y'day.
Gravity has got a hold on us all
and we return to the first fall
not knowing history holds
fate true ..

The silent source of light
and the bright
illumined day
two eyes deprived of
vision and
a lost sense
of time
and
of feelings giving way ..

Don't bring back what
you took away
Aspire me semblance
while I turn to another day

Seek me a shadow
that will reflect my darkness
the way your silence does
while the empty spaces
are
just two ..
one within me
and
another outside of you ..
