The love you seek

is not hard to find

just tell yourself what you need

and back it up with a spine

looking for shelter

with a hope in mind

I set out to find what love is

far away from the confines of my mind

I did it when I thought it was time

took the plunge only to find

some colors of paradise

amidst some misty haze

a love worth loving

with all its tenderness,

a memory worth a lifetime

and a fulfilled space

often logics obscure hope

for hope dwells in the heart

as thoughts dwell in the mind

I found you

when I lost myself

being too sure

was only keeping you from being mine

love is not the hardest climb

the journey though can get

hard to cope

the hope in your heart

needs to meet

the promise on your lips

for you to unearth

every glory

conquer every page

and all the fear

that you've so far caged

the love you seek is not hard to find

the trick is to know

that it's not out there

but within from where it becomes divine
