An inconvenient truth
Time has come ..
time has come
for pace to slow
for the circle to bend
and the cracks to show
Between the
routine tears
that devour me
off life
the managing smiles
have got to flow
the age rings
are countless
and the
freckles have got me slow
Time's up
memories, leave me
I'll be fine, go!
It is time to flow . . .
Heading north
through south now
As
east is the new west
where the sun
will rise with a new cheer
The light,
I've never seemed to
comprehend
illumines me to transcend
I've longed for sunsets
thus far
And embarked
on missions shaded
in the dark
The cover for con
and
guilt within
The corner for
dejection to never sink in
Darkened hues
did me in
I miss the life,
my fear of the dark
Ohh light is the vision...
You can see,
without it
illusion is the star
I'll raise my voice
if it makes things clear
that we all are alone, utterly
here, there and everywhere ..
Stalking ourselves
through and through
in our minds
fighting the blues
But to that ignorance
is a cheer
to go through it,
is pain that
destroys all fear
And that somehow is
the way too
Living in
silence sometimes
is a life
of dignity with
its glory view
Uptill you know
your turn to find
has come,
to land you
to that time . . .
No bond like the one
that shame binds ..
Anger, pain
not displeasure or
disdain
Misery, not felony
deceit not near
To be cruel
just to feel kind
The bad ends
leaving the worse behind
The worst though,
is when it comes
to cheating oneself
of overcoming a fear
Feeding the impossible
and taming the clear
But if the bus's missed
so is a lifetime of
cheer
Through death
of a relation
or a sign of bane
The key is
in taking, all that
remains
So, dream a little..
A little dream
for me,
one that flows unbound
Because thats how
I wished to flow ..
A time without beginning
is also the time
that ceases to bend ..
False humility,
I deny not the good work
you've done peer ..
Of bringing me
to the crossroad of truth
I may also
quickly revise
the longing and cheers
that wait did provide
It'd cast its
bracings on the future too
My dilemma is
not hate
but its failing
to curb my love, silhouette
I say it not
for I realize it brings you down
I hold it in
and they can see me frown
This epiphany
still strikes me deep
While I draw clashes
do you nonchalantly sleep?
